Returns & Cancellations

We believe you’ll be over the moon with the products you purchase from us.  That’s because we have gone to great lengths to stock and supply beautiful products that our customers have loved for many years.  We understand from time to time the furry friend selected may not be as you had thought.  In that event, we ask you to review the following terms that relate to returning the item and requesting a refund, store credit or replacement product. 

The refunds policy does not exclude any statutory rights to which you may be entitled to under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and other applicable Australian consumer protection law and regulations.  

 

In store purchase:

We offer a 14-day exchange or store credit policy on all unused items.

  • All items must be returned undamaged, in the original packaging with all tags and labels still attached. 
  • Refunds will only be made available as a store credit or refunded to the original method of payment at the discretion of management.
  • If a product is found to be defective, we will happily provide a refund, replacement or repair at the request of the purchaser.
  • Purchaser must bring the original receipt to the store. 
  • Sale items are non-refundable.
  • Special orders or personalised items are non-refundable.
  • Staff members can and will refuse exchange or refund without a valid receipt.
  • Discounts and promotion codes will not be refunded or converted to cash.


Online purchase:

We offer a 14-day returns policy, commencing from the date of delivery.  Please email hugs@theteddybearshop.com.au to request a Returns Authority Number. 

  • Return postage will be at the expense of the purchaser.
  • All items must be returned undamaged, in the original packaging with all tags and labels still attached. 
  • All items must be unused and will be inspected upon return.  Any items that are deemed to be used or have had labels removed will be refused a refund and the item will be returned to the purchaser.
  • The returned item must include the Return Authority number.
  • Refunds will be made available as a store credit or refunded back to the original method of payment. 
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable. 
  • Sale items are non-refundable.
  • Special orders or personalised items are non-refundable.
  • Discounts and promotion codes will not be refunded or converted to cash.  


Refunds & Credits

Refunds and store credits will be issued within 14 working days of the items being received and approved for return.

Store credits will be available in the My Account section of the website.   Any applicable store credits that you may be issued with will be available as a payment option on the check out page on the website. 

Store credits can not be converted into cash. 


Order Cancellation

All order confirmations are instantly sent to our warehouse for processing.   Therefore we are unable to cancel any orders prior to dispatch or delivery. 

We do offer a generous 14 day returns policy and you are most welcome to return your orders, with the exception of any clearance or discounted items.
