Thanks for shopping at The Teddy Bear Shop Canberra. We are excited about the range of products and services on offer for you online and in store. It’s important to us you find the right Furry Friend as a gift, to treasure forever or add to your evergrowing collection.
We are no different to any other retail store; there are terms and conditions that apply to your transactions with The Teddy Bear Shop Canberra. When placing an order online, over the phone or purchasing in-store all transactions are bound to the below terms and conditions.
We offer a wide variety of payment options for you to choose from, with no hidden fees or charges:
Credit Card - we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express cards. We do not charge additional fees for credit card payments. Credit card payments are processed immediately upon purchase in-store or at completion of your online purchase.
PayPal – we accept PayPal for phone orders or online purchases.
Phone orders will not be confirmed until PayPal has cleared the transaction and we have identified your payment. Please include your order number in the PayPal notes to ensure we can identify your payment. Payment can take up to 24 hours to be validated. Phone orders will not be confirmed until payment has received.
To pay with PayPal via our website, simply click the PayPal option on the check out page. You will be directed to PayPal and your payment will be processed immediately.
In the event of a PayPal dispute, customers will be contacted directly in order to mutually resolve this matter.
Cash – cash is only accepted in store.
Phone orders - Phone orders are accepted by calling 02 6257 6966. Orders are not confirmed until payment in full has been received. We accept visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.
Pay at collection – We are happy to hold items for 24 hours in store without payment.
Pricing Policy – The products offered by The Teddy Bear Shop Canberra are subject to availability and may be removed from the website or store at anytime. Prices can be changed at anytime without notice. We reserve the right to refuse any order in whole or part.
All prices in store and listed on www.teddybearshopcanberra.com.au are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are fully inclusive of government taxes (GST). International orders will be recalculated and have the GST removed.
We believe you’ll be over the moon with the products you purchase from us. That’s because we have gone to great lengths to stock and supply beautiful products that our customers have loved for many years. We understand from time to time the furry friend selected may not be as you had thought. In that event, we ask you to review the following terms that relate to returning the item and requesting a refund, store credit or replacement product.
The refunds policy does not exclude any statutory rights to which you may be entitled to under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and other applicable Australian consumer protection law and regulations.
In store purchase:
We offer a 30-day change of mind or exchange policy on all unused items.
We offer a 30-day refund policy, commencing from the date of delivery. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a returns number.
We are happy to lay-by orders placed in-store or phone orders. Orders placed online MUST be paid in full at the time of purchase.
Lay-by items can not be cancelled during the lay-by.
Special or Bulk Orders
If you can’t find that special something in-store or online we are more than happy to place a special order for you.
Refunds & Credits
Refunds and store credits will be issued within 14 working days of the items being received and approved for refund.
Store credits will be available in the My Account section of the website. Any applicable store credits that you may be issued with will be available as a payment option on the check out page on the website.
Store credits can not be converted into cash.
Promotions and Discounts
Promotional terms will be clearly advertised when applicable.
Discounts and promotion codes will not be refunded or converted to cash.
Shipping & Delivery
The Teddy Bear Shop Canberra delivers to most areas within Australia. Shipping will be via Australia Post or courier.
All orders will be shipped within 72 business hours after order and payment confirmation. Please note not all methods of payment are instant. PayPal can take up to 72 hours for payment to appear in our account, this may cause dispatch delays.
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse you will receive an email advising you of the tracking information and method of delivery.
We do not take responsibility for items that were unable to be delivered due to incorrect delivery address being advised at the time for order. If no one is available to accept the order during the delivery process it is the receivers sole responsibility to make alternative arrangements with the delivery company or collect the item(s) from the post office. No out of pocket expenses will be refunded.
If an incorrect delivery address has been advised you will be responsible to pay for re-delivery of the order to the correct address.
All order confirmations are instantly sent to our warehouse for processing. Therefore we are unable to cancel any orders prior to dispatch or delivery.
We do offer a generous 30 day returns policy and you are most welcome to return your orders, with the exception of any clearance or discounted items.
If you have missed an item or wish to add an additional item into your order please process your order online and email both order numbers within 24 hours. If the two orders have been placed within 24 hours we are happy to re-calculate the shipping based on the total order, and refund any applicable shipping costs.
